Ed Robb Has Deep Roots in The Woodlands
Since its beginning in January, 1978, Ed has turned The Woodlands United Methodist Church into one of the
fastest-growing churches in America.

• Ed has lived in The Woodlands for 34 years
• Ed serves as the Senior Pastor for The Woodlands United
Methodist Church
• Ed and Beverley raised their 3 children (Robby, Nathanael &
Ashley) in The Woodlands – all are graduates
of The Woodlands High School
• Ed and Beverley enjoy time with their grandchildren Sadie,
Xavier, Blake, Cara, Brody and Bexley – some still attend public
schools in The Woodlands

 


Ed Robb Listens – Over 34 Years of
Community Service
Quietly and with integrity, Ed continues to answer the call to listen, to serve, and to lead.

• Ed serves as a Director on The Woodlands Township Board
• Ed served over 10 years on the Town Center Improvement District Board - TCID
(prior to its conversion to The Woodlands Township)
• Ed is a past Chairman of TCID and led the board when the agreement was brokered to
“set The Woodlands free” from the threat of annexation by Houston.
• Ed Chaired the Governance Committee that oversaw the transition of the Township board
from appointed positions to elected positions, allowing all residents to vote for their leaders
• Ed is a past Director of South Montgomery County YMCA
• Ed is a past Chairman of Interfaith Board
• Ed served on the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Board
• Ed is a past member of the Women’s Shelter steering committee

Always on the look out for ways to better life in The Woodlands, Ed puts our families first.

• The Township’s tax rates have been reduced over the
last two budget years
• The tax base is growing strong particularly with
expanded commercial growth
• The Township has enjoyed double-digit decreases
in almost all areas of crime.
• The Township’s dedicated police force continues
to grow – including in Creekside Park
• Fire protection has been expanded with new
fire stations and improved response times
• Critical community and neighborhood services
continue to improve while being streamlined.
